Add an option to have timer countdowns be visible on lock-screen.
Is there any method that could display a countdown clock on THE LOCK WORKSTATION SCREEN (the password prompt)? The clock obviously would display time remaining until the session is disconnected and then another countdown until the session is logged out. The VDI is running Windows 10 Enterprise 1607 build ('Anniversary Edition'). Passing the time until an event can be quite anxiety-ridden, Countdown Star makes.
Most of the time the contrast is so bad that you cannot read it from the cover on home-screen and need to tap the cover to get a clue...
Often used as kitchen-timer this could be a useful enhancement.
For now I am only asking for 'displaying' what do you think?
Ideas on how to display:
- not interfering with the design, displayed as timer notification item like IM/SMS etc.
- above the alarm-icon being able to peek, available on lock-screen and not in-your-face (my fav)
- Centered circular timer on lock-screen, easy to read
